Created in 2011 to coincide with her major retrospective exhibition Love is What You Want at the Hayward Gallery in London, this print echoes the style of Emin’s early watercolours and large-scale paintings. It features a prone, solitary female figure surrounded by repeating motifs of olive trees. Emin has described the setting as a dreamlike space reflecting her connection to places like her Turkish-Cypriot homeland or Provence, leaving an ambiguous atmosphere where the figure appears suspended between sleep, memory, or deathly repose
